Eliza Sam, Lokyi Lai, Natalie Tong and Mat Yeung visit Vancouver for a Sweet Fans Party

Fans Party hosted by Fairchild TV have invited the beloved sweetheart Eliza Sam, Best girlfriend Natalie Tong, along with handsome Lokyi Lai and Mat Yeung to form the most adorable on-screen lovers ever to grace the stage this year. As drama theme songs played, the four popular stars made each made an entrance from the audience section, handing out TVB souvenirs on their way to the stage.
Fans Party MCs Mary Lo, Mandy Chan and Leonard Cheng first introduced Eliza Sam, whom Vancouver fans are most familiar with. Eliza was thrilled to return home and relive the Miss Chinese Vancouver stage where her road to stardom was kick started almost seven years ago. To express her appreciation for her fans’ support, Eliza dedicated her very first singing performance to the Fans Party stage with The Moon Represents My Heart and Top of the World as a manifestation of the heartfelt passion for this homecoming.
Handsome Lokyi Lai heated up the atmosphere with the fast paced song Passion, melting female fan’s hearts and finishing off with Days of Friendship.
Natalie Tong followed with upbeat Flower Universe and Sun Will Never Set showing off her lively and happy personality.
Tall and charismatic Mat Yeung was known for mimicking Nicholas Tse in the show Screen Play. This time, Mat specially selected Nicholas Tse’s No Need to Change Deliberately to bring to his fans, followed by Strong, radiating tons of positive energy.
Aside from being fun, stars interactions with audiences are always the highlights of the Fans Party. Eliza, while fluent in English, French, Cantonese, and some Japanese picked up from an exchange program to Japan, faced the challenge of reenacting a scene from her drama with a Thai audience member, causing the entire theatre to erupt with laughter. Mat Yeung played a game of ‘What's in the drama’ with fans, testing their memories. Aside from chatting with the MC’s, Lokyi Lai travelled down to the audience to have an up close Q&A with fans, showing off his charisma. Natalie Tong may appear to be graceful and shy, but was filled with competitive spirit and showed her agility last night as she played a ‘pull out the toilet paper game’. Lastly, the four stars came down from the stage to give out presents to the audience causing a stir amongst fans.
After an evening full of laughter and gifts, three lucky fans were chosen to take a group selfie with stars on stage and audience together, marking a beautiful end to another great Fans Party.

TVB Fairchild Fans Party is bringing the hottest stars to Vancouver including beloved sweetheart Eliza Sam, Best girlfriend Natalie Tong, along with handsome Lokyi Lai and Mat Yeung to form the most adorable on-screen lovers ever to grace the stage. Since it is Eliza and Mat's first time attending Fans Party, fans were stationed at Aberdeen Centre hours in advance to secure a prime spot to meet their favourite stars.
The 4 popular promising stars went straight to the press conference upon their arrival in Vancouver. Press Conference MC’s Mary Lo and Mandy Chan first invited our lovely Miss Chinese Vancouver and Miss Chinese International Eliza Sam on stage to greet local fans with her sweet signature smile. Eliza dedicated her first official public appearance in Canada and her first time performing at a Fairchild event to Fans Party to thank the continuous support from fans in the past years. In her upcoming new drama Triad Boss Under the Line of Fire, she has to perform lion dance and lots of action scenes that changed her past image a lot. When asked about her relationship status, she gave out her sweetest smile in response.
Next, it was Lokyi Lai’s turn. The John Ma in the hit series Come Home Love first visited Vancouver five years ago as the guest performer for Super10 and was very impressed by the passionate local fans. Lokyi also praised Vancouver for its fame as the hometown for many talented female artistes and was honored to sit at the judging panel of Miss Chinese International Pageant 2016 to select the winner, Jennifer Coosemans from Vancouver. After filming 995 episodes of Come Home Love, Lokyi is now taking time to relax. He devoted four years to focus on Come Home Love and feels very touched that his character, John Ma, has been considered a household member of TV viewers. Lokyi was thankful that aside from gaining popularity, he was able to build a deep relationship with the rest of the cast. When the drama’s baby Ma Kaho was mentioned, Lokyi was amused and revealed that perhaps it was time for him to plan an addition to his own family as well.
Natalie Tong has returned for Fans Party once again, this time already as one of TVB’s top actresses. Natalie expressed that she still remembered how much fun she had at the last Fans Party and that she looked forward to working with her new partners and interacting with audiences at the upcoming show. Natalie Tong has participated in many dramas this year as the female lead including Speed of Life and Short End of the Stick. Natalie also travelled to Germany to shoot the reality show Stars Go Camping and felt that camping in a foreign country and embracing nature is a unique experience for those who live in the city. In 2013 Natalie took part in a film, playing the fiancée of Louis Koo. This year, Natalie will be making her first appearance as the lead on the big screen. During the press conference, Natalie shared her experience acting for a film as well as discussed her future plans.
Lastly, Mat Yeung who plays Eliza Sam’s boyfriend in the upcoming drama Triad Boss Under the Line of Fire, had already fallen in love with the city’s beautiful weather and joked that he had made plans with his girlfriend Eliza to tour around Vancouver. Mat Yeung has experienced many ups and downs in his acting career until last year, when he finally received attention and appreciation for his performances in Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Executioner. With three dramas lined up for him this year, Mat revealed to the audiences his characters in these dramas, hoping to impress viewers with his acting skills.
The four stars then selected four lucky fans to be the recipients of the last much coveted tickets to Fans Party. President of Fairchild Media Group, Mr. Joe Chan presented the artistes with a souvenir and wished them success at the show. The last and most anticipated segment of the press conference was of course the autograph session. The four stars personally signed autographs for each fan, marking the perfect ending to the event.
